We are continuing our author study of Sandra Boynton. The kids have loved reading her books and noticing the familiar characters. Look out for some silly Boynton characters coming home this Friday.

Folders
Please send your child's folder back to school with them on Tuesday. Warm clothes and extra clothes:
  • Please send your child to school in a jacket, SNOWPANTS, SNOWBOOTS and other appropriate warm accessories
  • Please put a change of clothes in your child's backpack (including underwear and socks—you never know!)

We are finishing up our unit on the 5 senses with our sense of sight. Look out for discovery bottles (they will come home super clued shut). We are making self portraits (objective: knowledge about self), and beginning our Sandra Boynton author study.

We will have our monthly visit with the librarian from Burnham Library on Thursday. She is coming to our classroom to read books, sing songs and drop off books for our kids to read in the classroom.
