Welcome, future Pre-K families!
Enrolling in preschool can be an exciting time for families as their children prepare to enter a new world of learning and adventure. We believe preschool is an important foundation for building lifelong learners and thank you for considering the Colchester Early Education Program for your child. Welcoming new families into our preschool is always a priority for us and we wanted to share with you our updated enrollment procedures for the 2025-2026 school year.
If you have any questions about our program, the preschool application process, or our developmental screeners please feel free to email Nancy Smith at nancy.smith@colchestersd.org

Developmental Screeners
-
The school district conducts a two part screening process to aid in the development of teachable, balanced classrooms. We invite parents and children to join us for a short, in-person, screening at the Malletts Bay School on March 12, 2025. If your last name starts with the letter A-L, we invite you to join us from 8:45-9:30. If your last name starts with the letter M-Z, we invite you to join us from 9:45-10:30. The children will spend time in our preschool classroom with program staff. The adults will spend time with Nancy Smith in the cafeteria learning about the program and having questions answered.
We also ask that you please complete the two developmental screeners found here prior to March 11, 2025. Please click on the choice that allows you to fill out both the ASQ-3 and the ASQ-SE2 questionnaires. We also have hard copies available.
